Christmas worship music on Wednesday

Happy Wednesday, friends! It's no secret that one of my favorite things is to sing praises to my Jesus. He is worthy of all our honor and praise and it's an honor to be able to help lead worship on a praise team member on occasion. This picture above was this past Sunday and we were singing one of my favorite songs. I thought I'd share some of the Christmas sounding worship songs that I love right now. I hope you enjoy the music and I pray it moves you to worship our loving Father.

My favorite song right now is one we sang at our Experience Christmas program Sunday night. It's O Come All Ye Faithful with His Name Shall Be by Passion and featuring Melody Malone. I've shared this before, but it is worth repeating.

By the time we sang this on Sunday night, I couldn't sing it because the Holy Spirit just overwhelmed me in the moment that we started singing the words—"His name shall be Wonderful Counselor, His name shall be Everlasting Father, His name shall be Prince of Peace, Mighty God, His name shall be Emmanuel, we'll praise Your name forever". It's such a worshipful song and I love when the words are straight from Scripture.

Next on my list is Come Thou Long Expected Jesus by Meredith Andrews.

I've had this on repeat since 3:30 a.m. when I came downstairs yesterday morning.

The Lord allowed me wake early on my birthday, which I love. I used the extra time to wash my hair, read blogs, work on my own blog posts for the week and to read His word, pray and do Bible study. I love mornings like this and I kind of feel like it was a gift to me from Jesus the day I turned 45. ❤ My friend Kari is now with Jesus, but she would have called this a kiss from the King.

I share this next one every year, but the lyrics are true and it's one of my favorites. Read the lyrics as you listen, particularly when it gets to the chorus. This is Heaven Everywhere by Francesca Battistelli.

I've shared this new one before this year as well, but again, it's worth the repeat. This is Hope is Here (Do Not Fear) by Building 429.

This next one isn't a worship song, but it's a song I love. It's Auld Lang Syne by The Tenors.

This one below is Joy to the World/Our God Saves by Paul Baloche.

I love Audrey Assad's voice and this video of her singing Winter Snow with Chris Tomlin is the best.

I love this song, O Come, O Come Emmanuel by MercyMe.

I'll leave you with one more. This is Joseph's Lullaby, also by MercyMe.

Your turn! Do you have any favorites that are worshipful, like the ones I shared? I'm always looking for new music. Thanks for reading and happy listening! Love to all. ❤
