Happy Friday, friends! I hope your week has been good; I made spontaneous plans last night and never got around to finishing this post. (It was a really good second date...more about that in a minute.) I have some favorites from this week...late as this may be. I started this post yesterday morning and ditched it for getting out of my house last night!
Monday with my favorite local little people was my favorite! I spent the afternoon at one of my best friend's house; I held the newest edition to the family for literal hours, I ate lunch with them that I took over there, I read a long book to the oldest two while I held/fed the littlest one, and I caught up with my bestie. It was my favorite way to spend an afternoon!
Please forgive the curse word that is in this, but I feel like this is me right now! I sent this to Marilyn and I'm pretty sure she agreed.
I was super excited to go to Marilyn's house Saturday night. I'd eaten an early dinner because I was so hungry, and took my computer to her house while we talked and listened to music/watched Ransom Canyon. Those are my favorite type of nights!
Choir practice is my favorite! We're learning some new music for the summer; we'll have June and July off from practice, which means that my time as the bookstore manager is dwindling down to not much and will probably pass quickly.
These were my favorite outfits this week! I really love the top one, with the pink top from Marshall's I got several weeks ago.
About last night: I had psyched myself up for a night at home, even if it wasn't how I wanted to spend the time. I'd gotten food to cook dinner, but Jonah ended up having plans, so as I was figuring out what to make for me, I decided to go upstairs and take a shower/wash my hair. Right about then I got a text from my friend that I went out with on Sunday asking if I wanted to go to dinner with him. So I took him up on it! I went ahead with my shower and skipped washing my hair, fed the dogs, and then left. I love a spontaneous night of plans! He asked me to go out because he knew I didn't have anything going on and that I don't love staying at home; it was really sweet of him to think of that.
What was a favorite from your week? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. I hope you all have a great weekend! Love to all.
Jenn ❤️
How lovely to spend time with the little people and the time you spend with Marilyn sounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteGood on you for having a spontaneous night out.
Super cute outfits!! You always look so nice....and your outfits are good inspiration for me. And I can use plenty of closet inspiration! Happy weekend to you!
ReplyDeleteAw, baby snuggles are the best! I can't remember the last time I've held a little person. So I'm enjoying Ransom Canyon BUT I keep falling asleep part way through episode 1 (I swear it's not boring; it's just me being too tired to stay awake!).
ReplyDeleteLove your outfits! I hope you have a great weekend and a very happy Mother's Day!
