Happy Thursday, friends! Thanks for joining us today for the ageless style link-up! Today we're talking about graphic tees, which is something I can't speak a lot into since I don't have that many. I'm not much into t-shirts, but I do have a few that I like to wear and bum around in when I don't want to be more dressed up. Here are a few of my favorites right now.
Walmart has great graphic tees! That's where I got this one above from; I always wear this uniform when I go walking: tee, leggings, Dr. Scholl's sneakers.
This Life is Good shirt came from a local boutique, but you can order them anywhere. I love the fit of this tee, but I don't love the neckline and how it grows.
This is another Walmart tee, one I bought while in McKinney with my mom this year. I love this one, but it now has a hole in the back, thanks to a little naughty pup named Stella.
Another day, another use of a Walmart tee! This post is not sponsored by them, for what it's worth; I'm just a fan of inexpensive clothing. I love this one!
I shouldn't share this one since I can't remember where it came from, but it's one of my favorites. I love the scripture on the front, and I love the color; the only thing I didn't love was how tight the neck was, so I cut it to make it more wearable. This is what I wear as lounge clothes when I'm at home, or some variation of this: leggings, long tee, Amazon slides.
Finally, another tee not from Walmart this time; this one's an Old Navy one. I love theirs as well, but they're more pricey unless you can snag some on clearance.
And perhaps my favorite tee of all, this one made by my friend Lynn's daughter. It says, "chosen, not forsaken" and is from the song Who You Say I Am by Hillsong Worship. I've worn this short a lot this year, and you may remember me wearing it on Valentine's day when I had a terrible morning.
Here's the post that I shared about that day on.
Because I'm going to link up with Kellyann and Jill as well, I thought I'd share my outfits from this week as well.
This is the dress I bought in a boutique when I was in Louisville on the bloggers trip! I wore this because we celebrated our friend Amy at work yesterday; today is her last chemo appointment! We all wore pink to celebrate.
And here was my concert outfit from last weekend; this is a two year old purchase from Walmart. I wish I had this in more colors!
Back to the graphic tees...I will probably be wearing more graphic tees soon, since I'm going back to work in a school, and their thing is matching t-shirts on certain days. I don't mind, and I'll be on the lookout for more fun ones, along with fun jewelry, since kids love that kind of thing. I'm looking forward to this! Do you have a place that you love to buy tees from? I'd love to know where to look! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. Love to all!
Jenn ❤️
Those short sets are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I really like them and have worn them already!
DeleteJenn, literally all I wear are graphic t's! I just ordered some really cute ones for $10 each on this site..https://www.loveinfaith.life When I started working at the library, I ordered a bunch of shirts off Etsy, that had sayings of books and writing. I love working in a place where I can dress like I normally dress - jeans, t-shirt and tennis shoes :)
ReplyDeleteThat used to be all I wore! Thanks for that information on the tees; I'll look into them. It's great that you don't have to change how you dress for your job!
DeleteI don't wear a lot of graphic tees- I guess I sometimes pick them up when on vacation. For instance, I know I have some tees and sweatshirts with the names of places we've been at that you get at souvenir shops. I also have bought some tees in the past from Vineyard Vines- I only shop there when items are on good sales. Your outfits all look comfy and nice. How did I miss that dress that you bought in Louisville? It's so cute.
ReplyDeleteI used to do that! I loved them at one point in life, but I stopped several years ago. I'm at the point where I need more for casual outings, which is why I'm looking for more to replace some that are too big for me now. Thanks for that! I love that dress. I get compliments on it each time I wear it!
DeleteMost of mine are from Old Navy and Target. What I love about the Old Navy is they are shorter and more flattering. I sized up and they are perfect! Unfortunately some of them have developed holes from washing and wearing so much! Two have become just wear at home. I should round up the ones I have that I can wear outside the home. I like them under a button up or cardigan (teacher look!) and I like them with a patterned short. The shorts sets look great on you and I am glad they work for you!
ReplyDeleteI do love that the ON ones are shorter! I need to replace the two that I have from there that I like to wear. Thanks for that! I wore the cream set last night, and ended up seeing J. He really loved what I had on and said something about liking me in shorts. 😊
DeleteYou are looking fabulous! You are glowing :) The white outfit is my absolute fave
ReplyDeleteThank you for that! I love that cream set that I had on; I saw J last night and he liked it as well! 😍
DeleteI love the short sets from Amazon-those are so easy and you instantly look "put together"! A win win! I get my cute graphic tees from a website loveinfaith.com They are super cute and soft! I love a good graphic tee! My favorite one currently says "expensive and difficult" LOL Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I really do love these little sets; I'd buy more if there were more color options. Thanks for that information! I love what yours says that is your current favorite!
DeleteYou have quite the cute collection! I have gotten rid of several this year and added one or two.

Thank you! I need to do the same, after going through my closet for this post. I hope you're having a great week!
DeleteI have quite a few graphic tees. I have one on today with a quote from The Big Bang Theory. I tend to wear them more for hanging around the house too.
ReplyDeleteI have a pretty similar one to that Life is Good t-shirt, it says the same but mine is white with pink writing. My eldest has that Queen t-shirt, she is a big fan.
I love The Big Bang Theory! Is it a Sheldon-esque shirt? I love all the tees he wore in that show!
DeleteI was off the grid for two weeks and I have been catching up on all my favorite bloggers this week. Sounds like you’re living a really good life right now…so happy for you! A comment for this blog post, I just plain do not like T-shirts and only wear them if I “have” to. Cutting the neck out might be a solution for some that I know people wish I would wear more (to advertise their business, to be a part of a team, etc.), so I might try that. This post also inspired me to get online and order a couple of pair of summer shoes – thank you for that!
ReplyDeleteI’m off work today randomly and I’m really just trying to catch up on “life“. It’s on my list to write a Friday Favorites post so hopefully I can join in with that tomorrow.
Good for you, for taking some time off! Thank you for that! Life has been very full, and very busy, which is how I prefer. I'm glad I could inspire you for some new summer shoes!
DeleteLove all of the looks. I swear, the older I get, the more I love graphic tees.

Isn't it funny how our sense of style changes as we grow older?
DeleteEducator dress codes in the Waco area have really changed since I left the schools twelve years ago to provide in home speech therapy. I think there is a benefit to more comfortable clothing as long as it still looks professional. With your gift of style I look forward to seeing your school wardrobe !
ReplyDeleteI think it's changed a lot here as well! There is no such thing as "jeans day" anymore, because they're acceptable all the time now. Thanks for that! I'm looking forward to this...it's fun to dress up kind of wildly for elementary aged kiddos!
DeleteI should have linked up today! I love graphic tee's and have quite a collection. I tend to buy them when I travel. Buccee's has some great ones too, including faith themed shirts.
