Currently, October 2025

Happy Wednesday, friends, and welcome to this month's Currently! Today we're talking about what we're loving, anticipating, looking forward to, wearing, and cooking. I'll jump in!

Loving: I'm loving the cooler temps, patio weather, my schedule considering my work life, and time with family and friends.

Anticipating: I'm anticipating each new day, honestly. I am in the phase of loving my life.

Looking forward to: I'm looking forward to fall break!

Wearing: I'm loving wearing more fall like clothes!

Cooking: We've been cooking again! Jonah is grilling meat a lot of the time, and I'm doing the sides. I love our new arrangement!

Sorry this was late, friends! I'm struggling to stay caught up most of the time in terms of blogging, if I'm being honest. I appreciate your patience! Thanks for reading today; I can't wait to read your posts. Love to all!

Jenn xoxo

  1. Thanks for hosting!! I've been reading around - considering participating if I get a little free time to do so :). Glad you have a good cooking arrangement in your house - I never realized how much I love having someone cook for me until I stopped providing meals in the last year or so and others stepped up! I miss it, but my time has been filled with other things I enjoy (working FT is NO JOKE) and it's a nice thing to have someone else do that for you :). Glad you have Fall Break to look forward to!

    1. I hope you join us someday! It's a fun little post each month with easy prompts. It's so nice having someone to help me with the house things! I never had this until after I was divorced. My ex did the outside stuff, but he was zero help inside the house with things like cooking and chores. I enjoyed doing those things, but an offer would have been nice, you know? Working FT is no joke, you are so right! I'm loving the school schedule and all the breaks.

    1. Thank you! I have been out there a lot more since it's cooler at night. It's still pretty buggy when it's hot, but any day now it'll be cooling down more. I made a fashion post a couple of weeks ago...it was a Thursday. Maybe you can find it now that you know? I like the thought of this being my happy era!

  5. I love the look of your patio. We spend a lot time on our front porch and the patio feels a bit like an orphan. I should work on that!:) So many cute outfits this month!! Thanks for hosting the link-up...happiest October vibes to you!:)

  6. I am loving the cooler temps too. The weather we've been having here is my favourite, apart from today where it rained almost all day.

    1. This made me laugh. It's freezing inside the school where I work, so I can get away with sweaters right now. I do love our cooking arrangement!

    1. I know! I love it so much. Oh my goodness...I'm so glad our schools have fall break! I think they're more for the teachers than the students.

Aww love that your son is cooking for/with you! Whenever I newly date a man, I pay close attention to how he speaks about and treats his mom, sisters, other female relatives, exes, female servers, etc.. Sounds like you've raised a bunch of great guys! TGIF!

    1. I love it, too! I think it's the best arrangement. That's such a wise thing to do! I do think my guys are all amazing...though they have their moments, they're all such kind and decent men. I'm so proud of all of them! Thank you for that! Happy Friday to you as well, my friend!
