Happy Friday! Happy last day of school to ME! I hope you've had a great week; mine went by so fast, which doesn't surprise me. It's been a busy one! I'll jump in with some favorites, starting with something everyone always asks me about...
My lipgloss! The two on the left are the L'Oreal brand; the other two are NYX. The color I wear the most is the one you see me holding, which is called Angel Food Cake.
I just made myself laugh over this picture. Lipstick of any form has always been my favorite ever since I was a little girl...this still rings true today! I just made a stop at Ulta last night (another favorite) on my way home from an after school appointment to pick up a replacement tube; I also bought another Elf eyeshadow palette called Cream & Sugar, some hair gel, and some curl spray gel. Who doesn't love to play in makeup? I was intrigued by the new Ella (Langley) perfume called Want to Be Her; they didn't have any at all, not even a sample spray bottle.
My flower beds are my favorite at the moment! Check out my azaleas; aren't they gorgeous? I'm always thankful when God waters them for me.
Getting a new baby to love in the family is a favorite! Introducing my newest little great niece, Ella Blake. She made her appearance on Tuesday; Erika has five girls now! This is hard to wrap my mind around.
Surprise assembles at school will forever be a favorite, even if saying goodbye to my friend and principal is not. This was a tearjerker!
These were my favorite things from socials this week.
My outfits this week were comfy and casual, which was a favorite! I was doing dirty work this week, so I wore leggings and t-shirts....but on Wednesday, we all wore the same shirt that we have to surprise our principal during her assembly.
My school is my favorite! Please note what our car line looked like Wednesday morning. Who knows what's in store for today's version? I know there will be loud music and dancing!
As I was going through some papers this week, I found some treasures. It'll always be a favorite when I get a handwritten note from a sweet student.
New nails are always a favorite!
Week date nights are always a favorite! But honestly? Because we don't have kids that are young, when we're together, every night is date night. I love this!
What was a favorite of yours from the week? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends...and for all your sweet words from yesterday's post. That means the world to me! Love to all.
Jenn
That new baby is so pretty! Ella Blake is such a cute name. Erika is gonna think one baby is a piece of cake and she has so many nannies - lol.
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks so good! It's so blonde and I love it!
I love angel food cake. It's a really good gloss. I am trying not to buy lip products but gosh, I love trying new ones.
I think she's perfect, and I LOVE her name. I don't know if they'll use both names or not, but I kinda hope they do. She has so many built in mommies! Lisa (my sis) told me that every time they see her, someone is holding her. They refuse to put her down! I love this. Thank you for the hair love! I went super blonde for summer; now I just need a tan to go with it. I love this particular lip gloss color...it's probably my favorite of all time. Happy Friday!
DeleteAw, that sounds like a wonderful week of favorites!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's been a great week.
DeleteLove the pics with Chris AND obsessed with the nails- have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's been a while since we've taken pictures together, so it was way overdue. I thought of you when I got my nails done Tuesday night. It's that same neon color you commented on from last summer in one of the pics I shared in a post this week.
DeleteYay to the last day of school! I hope you have a fab summer! Those lip glosses are so pretty and so are your flower beds!
ReplyDeleteAww! Congrats with the new great niece. She is adorable.
Your school looks like so much fun, especially in the car line. hehehe
Loved your favorites! Lots of cute outfits...and fun days! HOORAY for summer vacation!! And I love those shots from the socials this week. Gotta save a couple of those!
ReplyDeleteI love that "gratitude scavenger hunt" - it reminds me of one of the strategies to tackle an anxiety/panic attack- 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can smell, 2 things you can touch and 1 thing you can taste. Directing my mind to something specific helps calm me when I'm anxious!
