Happy Friday, friends! How has your week been? Mine has been good...more highs and less lows happened this week. I'm always glad for that! I'm down to two weeks of school left as of today, and only one week left with students for intervention. The last week will be spent packing/purging/sorting/ and getting ready for the next school year. I'll jump in with some favorites from my week!
Reading has become my favorite past time again! I finally finished this book, and I'm almost halfway through another one by an author I love (Cara Bastone).
I'm reading anytime and anywhere I can; if I have down time at work, I pick my Kindle up. This was me in my car Wednesday morning before work.
This poster and Teacher Appreciation Week were favorites this week!
God's word is a favorite; I've been loving being in the book of Psalm a lot this week. I'm looking for a Bible study to do on my own...do any of you have a recommendation?
This was a favorite day of Bible reading.
Outfits of the week are always a favorite part of my mornings.
Our high school's mascot here in town is the dragon. Every year in May, we have a Parade of Dragons...these are the students who attended Crosswind when they were in elementary school. Isn't this sweet? It was a favorite moment of the week.
This moment was also a favorite...we sent off our special needs friends to a fun event called the Dragon Games early one morning. It's like a field day for them, and our students lined the halls to wish them well.
I also loved this that I found on another IG account that I love, girlintheyellowtaxinyc.
Lastly...
...it's always a favorite when I look at my watch at this time. I sent this to Chris.
Other favorites include, but are not limited to...
- having a one on one dinner with Noah Wednesday night
- sharing laughter with my friends/co-workers
- finally finding out who our new principal is
- a sunny day after two days of rain
- fun games with our kiddos at school
- hearing them laugh and be competitive
- counting down the days until summer
- talking to my sons
- planning a fun mother's day night with my family
- talking to Graham at work after him giving me a heart attack (he always forgets that I work and he called asking for a recipe)
What say you? What was a favorite of yours from the week? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. Love to all!
Jenn

Oh my gosh that is too funny about Graham- ha! Glad school is so fun-they are so lucky to have you-wishing you an amazing Mother's Day- you deserve the best!
ReplyDeleteI know! He really did scare the daylights out of me, and he said he always feels dumb when he forgets that I work all the time now. Ha! Thanks for that, my friend. I hope the same for you, because it's true for you as well!
DeleteHaha - love your list! I love that you are reading! I will put the Cara Bastone on my list. I love her, too. Did you like "This Book Made me Think of You"? Where did you get your white button up? I love that look. It is very Parisian to me!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you only have 2 weeks!
Thanks! I love that I'm reading, too. It's a great book...I love her! I loved This Book Made Me Think of You! It was beautiful and thought provoking, and I loved that Alfie...and I also loved hearing Joe's voice. It was such a sweet story. Thanks for the rec! The button up came from Old Navy! It's my favorite so far. I think the same thing...black and white is so classic. I am counting down!
DeleteYour pink dress is adorable! Enjoy the countdown to summer at school.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThose school events sound fun! I don't think I have ever read anything by Cara Bastone. I'm going to have to look for her at our library.
ReplyDeleteCourtney Joseph's Ecclesiastes Bible study is really, really good! Her Ruth study is also excellent. The Ecclesiastes study is about time and how we use it. I did these on my own and really enjoyed both of them. --Anita in Charleston

ReplyDeleteNo one has time to read your dumb post, spambot.
DeleteThen why are you reading it, it doesn’t take a genius to know who you are!!!
DeleteI am glad you have had a good week.
ReplyDeleteI am listening to This Book Made me Think of You and I don't want it to end, it is such a sweet story and that sign is so sweet too!
That is so lovely that the older kids get to come back for the parade.
It sounds like a nice week with many good moments at school and at home :). I think our school's last day must be the same day. Hooray for that day! Your outfits are so pretty and I love that senior walk in the elementary school. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI am so late in reading Friday's posts, but I like that soul mate quote. And the other one is funny too! I always love seeing 11/11.
