Happy Tuesday, friends! I'm talking about more things I'm saying yes to this week. I'm also linking up with Amy for the weekly Fashion Files and Joanne for Tuesday Talk. I'll jump right in!
This was my Sunday outfit for family dinner night this weekend.
This was yesterday's outfit, which I loved.
It's been a minute since I've done a "things I'm saying yes to" post, so I thought I'd continue on with that now; it'll also give you some insight into my week and what I'm doing new this week.
I'm saying "yes" to:
- attending Bible study again
- meeting with new friends at my new church and exploring more options there about how I can get connected
- time spent with friends
- taking a drive to clear my head (it's been a while)
- spur of the moment plans
- laughter and companionship at work
- more reading in bed and at lunch
- easy lunches at work
- cool clothes for the hot week
- wearing more of the things in my closet
- being at home more and feeling content
What about you? What are some things you're saying yes to right now? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. Love to all!
Jen

Cute outfits- I like how your principal encouraged pink in honor of Dolly. I like the skirt in the last picture. I feel like you wear a lot more dresses than skirts? I enjoyed reading your list of things you are saying "yes" too. I recently said yes to a Bible study and I'm trying to get myself excited about it. I think it will be good but I'm very much used to me reading the Bible and commentary about it (if I have questions about a passage or verse) rather than being in a formal study.
ReplyDeleteThanks, friend! I'm definitely wearing more dresses than skirts/skorts, and I only have two of those. I bought them over the summer as well, but I haven't figured out how to wear them comfortably since they're a little big on me. Yesterday I just decided to go with it, since I wanted to wear the yellow one. I feel the same way about Bible study! I'm hoping I love it and want to go back each week. It's a commitment!
DeleteThose are some really cute outfits-- especially the skirt and shirt.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love the skort and shirt I wore yesterday.
DeleteRed and white stripes always pair well with black pants. Not a fan of dresses, especially the wide short type...there's been a trend amongst perverts/weirdos of aiming their phone cameras at women's legs, underwear when behind them on escalators, no thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think so too! I always wear shorts under my dresses, so if anyone did that to me, they'd be disappointed.
DeleteLove your yes list and these cute dresses!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI bet you are one of the most dressed up employees at the school! I love the detail down the front of the pink dress so much. You have gotten your money's worth from your early summer ON haul! I think wearing what you wore on Sunday for just a couple of hours again on Monday is so smart!
ReplyDeleteI love what you are saying yes to!
Thanks, friend! I often just dress to match what most of the staff wears. Most don't wear dresses everyday, but I'm just too hot to do that. I definitely got my money's worth out of my summer haul! I love doing that...I'll probably keep doing that!
DeleteI really like that denim dress, I was looking at some the other day and thought about buying one but couldn't find one that I really loved. Fab outfits!
ReplyDeleteYour list of things you are saying yes to did make me smile.
Thank you, friend!
DeleteYou have truly come full circle my friend- there is a peace and calmness about your despite all the hurt and loss and change- I am really inspired by you- thank you for sharing XO
ReplyDeleteI don't know about that, but I'm definitely trying. I don't broadcast all the times I fall apart, but often save that for when I'm home alone or with Jonah and Noah, or Marilyn. Thank you, though!
DeleteLove your end of summer style! Jenn, you are an inspiration!

Thanks for that, friend!
DeleteLove all your dresses. I'm looking forward to hearing about your bible study. I was laughing about the anon comment.
ReplyDeleteThanks, friend! So...I ended up backing out of it. It's too soon for me to commit to something like a year long study! The anon comments are always entertaining, to say the least!
DeleteI love that you are saying yes!
ReplyDeleteThanks, friend! Well, accept to Bible study. Ha!
