Happy Thursday, and happy October, friends! I thought I'd talk about a few things that have made me happy this week. I'll jump right in!
The crisp mornings have been amazing! They make me smile.
Talking on the phone Monday morning out on my deck made me happy this week. It was so refeshing!
Old comforting shows make me happy.
Reading at lunch makes me happy! But so does talking with co-workers when they come into the lounge.
These ridiculous dogs make me both shake my head and laugh. All the time.
My sweet little M at school makes me happy! I love it when she tells me she loves me.
Hearing her mom say that they pray for me everyday also makes me happy! I need all of that I can get.
Greeting students each morning makes me smile so big.
Fresh water makes me happy!
That first cup of coffee also brings me joy.
Writing here makes me happy, and it's therapeutic.
Making lists and using my down time at work makes me happy!
Having last minute, impromptu plans makes me happy.

What a great list! A good night's sleep (last night) made me grateful (I'd slept ZERO the night before so I was due to sleep well!!). Seeing Alyssa for a little bit before I took her back to school on Monday made me happy. It's so cool that M's mom prays for you!

DeleteThat is a wonderful list! I'm struggling to pull a list of happies together this week. I guess I'm happy that with everything we have going on my husband and I can still make each other laugh.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I get that you can't pull a list of things together when you're struggling. I remember waking up one morning thinking along those lines, and I could only think of thanking God for the sleep He gave me that night. It's hard! I'm so glad you and your husband have each other.
DeleteWonderful list! We have enjoyed fall break this week and EO and I went over to my high school to walk the grounds a couple of times already. Without kids and cars over there, it has been nice. We have also enjoyed less activity on "our playground". I got to see the prettiest sunrise one morning, too.
