a heart of gratitude--inspired writing Tuesdays

Happy Tuesday, friends! I'm doing something new on Tuesdays, starting today. I've been feeling inspired to write lately, so I want to start sharing some of that here. I hope you enjoy today's post, and the ones I have planned to come in the following weeks. Happy reading! Feel free to leave me your thoughts or suggestions at the end of today's post.

Lately I've been thinking about how easy it is to rush through life—chasing the next thing, fixing the last thing—and miss the soft miracles happening right in front of me. Gratitude slows me down. It's the deep breath before the coffee, the warmth of a hug that lingers, the sound of laughter drifting through a quiet room.

Gratitude isn't loud. It doesn't need grand gestures. It's found in the small ordinary moments that remind me that I'm alive and loved—the way sunlight spills across a floor, the familiar voice that feels like home, the peace that comes from knowing I've weathered storms and still found beauty.

This season, I'm learning that gratitude is not about what I have, but how I see. It's an openness—a soft place in the heart that says, "Thank you for this day, this breath, this love, this chance of a new beginning."

................................................................................................

I hope you enjoyed this today, friends. Thanks for always being around to be my loudest cheerleaders. Your kindness and support means more to me than you'll ever know. I'm grateful for all of you! Love to all.

    2. A heart of gratitude reminds us to appreciate every learning moment. Through reflection and growth, even tasks like CIPD Assignment Writing Services become opportunities to express thankfulness and purpose.

  2. Beautiful words. I tend to get frustrated with my puppy and the state of the house around 4:30 when I am starting to think about making dinner. I need to be grateful at that time of day and see all the little things around me.

    1. Thank you for that! I totally get the puppy frustration; they're a lot of work. I sometimes think it's easier to have two dogs than one, because they keep each other occupied. It does help to focus on all the little things...but even then sometimes it's hard.

    1. Thanks for that, friend. It's such a healthy thing to do each day, no matter the time of year. Sometimes it's hard to find things, but the more we practice this, the easier it becomes.

  4. Aww - thank you for these words! It really hits home. I’ve been feeling the same pull to slow down and be present instead of rushing from one thing to the next (a day off now-and-then really helps!). My word for the year is intentional, and that’s been tough lately with so many events packed into the end of the year. I’m trying to remind myself that even in the busy and the ordinary that the EXTRAordinary lives in gratitude - I want to find it every day!

    1. Thanks for the kind words! I totally get that pull...and you are right about this time of year being so difficult to be intentional. We really will have to work at it more during this busy season. I was thinking of that this morning...and how I may abandon my Bible Recap reading for the rest of the year to do a study that helps me focus on this more. I feel like it might help me some, because I've been missing the digging into studying God's word.

  5. Beautiful words and so true! Even on my worst days I find something to grateful for and it's usually the small things that are so important. When I slow down I notice the small things more.
