Happy Wednesday, friends! I'm hosting this party one last time before handing over the reigns to sweet Amy from Coffee and Cocktails at the Casa in 2026...stay tuned to hear from us both about the details. This month we're talking about what we're currently loving, hoping, doing, wearing, and seeing. I'll jump right in!
I'm currently loving dressing the part for December, my favorite month of all! Fun fact: these pictures were taken a year apart, almost to the day. This top one was Monday morning, the bottom from Thanksgiving night of 2024. It feels good to see the difference in my weight! I've put some back on the last few months, but I plan on picking back up in January and starting all over again. It also feels good that even though I've put a few pounds back on, the difference is still noticeable between last year and now.
I'm currently hoping to finish the process of becoming the owner of my own home. I have paperwork hurdles to cross this week that I need to prioritize and get sent over to the mortgage company. I'm also hoping to finish buying and wrapping gifts for everyone!
(These pictures are from last year.)
I'm currently doing blog work as I watch Nobody Wants This on Netflix. I just got home from dinner out with Kendra, it's a rainy Monday night, and I'm on my couch in a nightshirt and robe with my hair up and a cup of hot cocoa beside me. It's pretty much Heaven, I'm not going to lie.
I'm currently wearing all the festive outfits! I only have one picture of my outfit from Monday, but please take note of my new fun (gaudy) Christmas earrings.
It's gaudy festive clothing and jewelry month, and it's also red lipstick month! I'm claiming this month as my own, since my birthday is the fourteenth.
I'm currently seeing the pretty view of my Christmas tree.
I took this picture on Friday to show off my new tartan plaid tree collar. I love it so much!
Well, that's a wrap on me hosting this lovely community also known as the Currently link party, friends. Thank you for participating with me each month, and for showing up to link up, read, and comment on my blog. I feel like my "audience" grew because of you, and I'm grateful for each of you! I'll continue to blog here daily, or close to it, and I'll still host Share 4 Somethings on the last Saturday of every month. I appreciate Amy's willingness to take over as the new hostess! Be on the lookout from her to hear about the details for January; she will most likely share them on a blog post coming soon. In the meanwhile, keep coming to see me here and go follow along with Amy! She's one of my favorite bloggers, and also a personal friend.
You can see that clearly, she has zero personality. 😉 I'll see you back here either tomorrow or Friday, friends. Love to all!
Jenn

Thanks for the link up- how fun to have someone carry it on for you. Wow, you can really see a difference in your weight but what I really noticed is that your smile doesn´t seem to reach your eyes in the photo from last year. Last year, your new life situation was so new and still pretty raw at this time of year. I love seeing your eyes as lit up as your red lipsticked smile this year :). I love your gaudy earrings so much- I have a few pairs that are like that and I LOVE them! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I've loved hosting, but I'm too busy these days. I'm glad she's taking over! Thank you for that...I remember forcing that smile last year. People have been telling me this a lot lately. I'm so grateful to be here this year rather than where I was last year. Gaudy earrings are the best! I hope you have a great day as well, my friend!
DeleteOh how fun that Amy is going to be taking over! Funny enough I put all my Christmas sweaters out in my closet (all 2 of them!) but wasn't thinking at all about wearing my Christmas jewelry. Thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun that she's taking over! I feel relieved. I'm glad I could remind you!
DeleteYou can see the difference between the two photos, you're looking great!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the paperwork and I hope your home is all yours soon.
Blog work, with comfy clothes and hot cocoa sounds perfect and I love your earrings! Tis the season, if you can't do gaudy at Christmas when can you!
Thank you! It really was a perfect night at home. You are so right about it being the season of gaudy Christmas things!
DeleteThank you for doing Currently these past few years! So glad Amy is taking this over for you. I mean, who doesn't love them some Amy?? Jenn, you look so good and have been killing it in the fashion department! I love the new tree base. It is great you are becoming a homeowner and I just released that!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I've loved it, but am relieved to be handing it over to someone else. That's the beauty of link-ups; I took over for a couple of ladies, and now I'm handing over one. Thanks for that!
DeleteThanks for doing this link up. Good luck with your new house. Love your tree collar
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! Thanks for that, friend.
DeleteYou really can see the difference a year makes! Both are gorgeous pictures of you! I love your festive clothing and the elementary kids will, too! So exciting to get all your paperwork done - you go, girl!
ReplyDeleteI was not expecting that much of an intro and it made me laugh! Thank you so much! You are helping my dream to host a link up come true!
Thank you! I love comparison pictures. Well, I'm not quite done yet, but I'm working on it as we speak. I am so glad you're taking over this! I feel relieved; two links are too many for me right now, and I'm glad to help you live your dream!
DeleteI really appreciate your keeping this link-up going for the past months...many months. It is a lot of fun! I love your tree!! Oh, and the gaudy earrings - lol. Not gaudy but super festive!! Thanks again and happy December!
ReplyDeleteI have loved every minute of this link party! But it is definitely time to hand it over to someone else. Amy was the obvious ask for me, because I know she has more time now to do it, and she's been wanting to host a link party for a while. Happy December to you, my sweet friend!
DeleteLove all of your festive outfits and accessories- you are nailing December! Oh boy Amy taking over currently? That is awesome- she always cracks me up- that pic of her and the cross- hysterical! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm nailing December. 🤣 She will be great at hosting this in 2026!
DeleteI'm glad I found this currently link-up and thanks for hosting it all this time. I love wearing holiday sweaters this time of year and I should buy some bright red lipstick. It looks so pretty on you. I love your Christmas tree and the pretty collar. I hope you have a happy December.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I am so glad you found it as well and hope you come back to my blog to visit. Thanks for the red lipstick love; you should try some!
DeleteGood luck on the paperwork for your own home! Thanks also for having hosted this linky for so long.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I was glad to do this. I hope you come back and visit here often!
DeleteThank you so so much for hosting! I LOVE all of your Christmas outfits! You're so fashionable! I also love all of your holiday decor, its so pretty and cozy! I know you're ready for your home to officially be all yours :) YAY for new beginnings ! I hope you have a wonderful holiday!!! :) I also love the Family Stone, such a sweet movie!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all of that, my friend! I've loved hosting this, but I'm so happy for Amy that she's taking over for me. I need to let go of a few things as my life gets busier. Yay for new beginnings!
DeleteI'm so glad Amy will be taking over! Thank you for hosting for all these years!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I told her to make it her own. You're welcome, my friend! I've loved doing it for a season.
DeleteI've really enjoyed getting to know you a little bit through this link-up and SFS and really appreciated you taking them over from their previous hostesses. :-) Thanks for being such a fun and gracious hostess! I look forward to getting to know Amy as well! Happy Holidays!
