Friday Favorites, 3.18.22

Happy Friday, friends! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea for this weekly blog post on all the favorites. You can click on their names to see the rest of these posts. I love reading them!

In some ways this week has been long and not my favorite for lots of reasons, but in other ways, it's been a really good week. This is the week of Spring Break for our local schools, so even though it doesn't effect me anymore, we did not have Bible study this week and that did make a difference in the routine of my week. I enjoyed a week's break from routine and used the days to be productive in other ways. It's my favorite when that happens!

Speaking of Bible study, this part two is going to be my new favorite!

We just finished part one of this and part two is going to be even better! I'm excited to dig into week two this morning and tomorrow. We're studying the characteristics of biblical womanhood, according to Titus 2.

This was my favorite view as I did Bible study homework last Saturday. The snow was pretty and by Sunday afternoon, most of it had melted.

I love a pretty view while I have quiet time.

I have a new favorite color for my nails—it's called Fancy Princess. (The name is NOT my favorite.)

I love lighter colors when the weather turns warm.

The book of Deuteronomy is always one of my favorites to read.

It's always a little sad, too, because Moses is nearing the end of his life.

This was my favorite night of dinner this week. Taco Tuesday! This was actually a salad, though. It was delicious. Todd enjoyed it as well, so I wrote down all the nutritional info for us to do this again in a couple weeks.

I have a new favorite coffee creamer! A friend and I were talking last week about what we put in our coffee and at some point, this stuff was brought up. I decided to give it a try and to reduce the sugar I put in my coffee and it worked. This stuff is delicious!

I didn't realize until yesterday morning that it's soy milk, but it doesn't taste weird or anything. I will be buying this on repeat!

I have a new favorite show!

I realize that I am WAY LATE to the Downton Abbey craze, but I am hooked. I love the castle, the accents, the clothing, the formality, the old-fashioned habit like all of the butlers standing when Mr. Carson enters the room. I love Matthew Crawley and Lady Grantham and Anna and Bates. I'm midway through season two.

Other favorite things this week are:

Long phone conversations. I've had plenty of them this week!

Days of nowhere to be. I am always fine with staying at home.

The feeling of accomplishment I mentioned earlier. I set about with a goal for this week and I got it done. That is always my favorite!

That's about all I've got for this week's favorites. What was one favorite thing from your week? I'd love to hear from you! As always, thank you for reading my blog, friends. Love to all!

thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday, friends! I'm joining in with Rebecca Jo and Leslie for today's edition of Thankful Thursday. I have to preface this post by saying that not every week is wonderful. There are some weeks that are that way, but there are others that just about knock the breath out of me. Lately I have had lots and lots of things to pray for that are very personal and won't post here. I know some of you probably think I never have a bad day and that's just not true. I do tend to be a look-on-the-bright-side, the glass is half full kind of person, though, and I try to put more of my focus and attention to the many wonderful things I have to be thankful for. The Lord is gracious and He is faithful. All the things that I keep private here are reserved for the times when I pour my heart out to Him.

That being said, I have lots of things that stick out from this week so far. I've been writing out an actual gratitude list again recently. I start with Sunday and end it on Saturdays, but in my journal it's titled "Good Things". These are things that are straight off of the pages from my journal.

I am so grateful for great worship and sound preaching every week at church. It was really, really good on Sunday, as it always is and my heart was overwhelmed with thankfulness at that and how privileged we are to be able to attend church services each week. I can never thank the Lord for this honor without stopping to pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ around the world who would give anything to be able to have what we experience each week.

I'm so thankful for my friend Laura at church and that I was able to help her out on Sunday. She's our worship pastor's assistant and she is who I am with when I work in the audio/visual booth certain weeks. I love her and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her better and getting a glimpse into her beautiful heart.

This was me on Sunday afternoon, sitting in our little library or kitchen area at the back of our choir rehearsal suite. People sign in here and pick up music, waters and mints if they so choose.

Also on this note, I am thankful for worship ministry fellowship. I love that we're like a family within a larger family and enjoy talking to them each week before the service starts. I am almost always there early, so there's always a handful of us who talk about all the stuff going on in the world, Hallmark movies and enjoy a cup of coffee together. I actually listed some of their names in my journal.

I was glad to see a friend back at church this week. He had been really sick with pneumonia and hasn't been there in weeks. so it was good to see him walking around again.

I am thankful for days at home this week. It's spring break for the schools in our town, which no longer effects me at all, but because of that we did not have Bible study on Wednesday. In lieu of that, I've spent the time writing that I would have usually spent in preparation for Wednesday. This means that I've finished my first portion of the next Bible study we're writing on! You have no idea how happy this makes me. I had a very productive day doing that yesterday and hope to have another day just like it today. I need a quiet house and to cram it all into as few days as possible. I don't do well with long drawn out deadlines. I've learned that I work best in a crunch.

I'm thankful for good books! I've read several this week and each one seems to get better and better. I'm still stuck on my newest favorite author, but I know I can count on her books to help me escape.

I'm so very thankful for praying friends. I've unloaded on my best friend a few times this week and she has done the same on me. I'm so grateful to have friends to walk through my life with.

I'm thankful for times of laughter. I've had several times of that this week with my husband and in a couple of other phone conversations. I'd hate to think of what life would be like if we couldn't laugh!

That's all I have written out so far for this week. What about you? What's something you're thankful for this week? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog, friends. Love to all!

quiet time things/Wednesday in the Word

Happy Wednesday, friends! I thought I'd share a little bit of where I'm reading in the Bible right now and why I love where I'm reading so much. Most of you already know I'm reading through in chronological order again this year. I do this every couple of years, because I need to switch up how I read through every year so that I don't experience burnout. Also, I think we can do something so many times in a row that it becomes something we're seemingly immune to. I never want that and maybe some of you are different and it's just me that has to switch it up each year. Believe it or not, I already start thinking about what I'll do the next year soon. I kind of already have an idea in mind, because I am a planner.

So far in our reading, we've read through Genesis, Job, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and we're just now getting going in Deuteronomy. This is the fifth and last book of the Torah, or the first five books of the Bible. Moses is nearing the end of his life and so far as I've read, he is reiterating to the Israelites once again, what they are to do in the days to come. At this point, they're about to cross over in the Promised Land, and Moses will not be the one to lead them there. It'll be Joshua and Caleb that will lead the people of Israel there and a new era in our reading will start in the book of Joshua, the Conquest Era. I've mentioned this before, but here is a website that you can visit to read about the 14 eras in the Bible. Moses didn't get to live there himself because of what happened of Meribah Kadesh in Numbers 20. God told him to speak to the rock and water would come forth, but Moses struck the rock twice with his staff instead. God wanted Moses and Aaron to trust Him, but in so doing this, Moses displayed that he didn't trust God enough to honor Him as holy.

At one point when I was reading, Moses begged God to allow him to go into the Promised Land, but God wouldn't allow him. He did allow him to go the ledge of a mountain and look out upon the land. I thought that was so sad, but I know that God is holy and sovereign, and He takes it seriously when one of His own disobeys Him. This is what I've been reading about so far in Deuteronomy—a call to obedience to God. He also reminds them of the greatest command, a Jewish prayer called the Shema that was so important that Jesus also included it in His prayer in Mark 12:28-30. Jesus was acknowledging God as most important and worth being devoted to. I love this passage in Deuteronomy 6:4-6.

Listen, Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart.

I love that in Deuteronomy 8, Moses gave them a charge to remember all the Lord had done for them in bringing them out of Egypt. They wandered in the desert for 40 years in going to a place that should have been an eleven day journey! In all those years, their clothing never wore out and their feet never swelled. In chapter 10, Moses shared with them what God required—to fear the LORD and to walk in His ways. He reminded them to remember and to obey and he told them of how there would be a blessing for obedience and a curse for their disobedience. God gave them very specific instructions to follow and they had no reason not to follow His ways. I'll later read that they did not follow His very specific instructions and generations suffered because of that disobedience.

I guess the reason I love this book so much is that it points me to God's sovereignty. It points me to trust in His perfect plan and to follow His ways. I can tie a little of this in with the Bible study I'm currently doing on true biblical womanhood, how we're to be women who practice discernment, who live honorable lives and who honor others. To the one who is unbelieving, all of this would seem like a list of rules of things we're not to do. It would seem foolish and impossible. And it is impossible without Him. But with God, it's possible to live in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. We are human and we will mess up over and over again, but when we do, it's important to acknowledge the sin in our lives, repent of it and to go forward. God gives us abundant grace!

I'm leaving you with one verse and one last thought on what I read Monday that jumped out to me. It's Deuteronomy 8:11 in the NLT.

Beware that in your plenty you do not forget the LORD your God and disobey his commands, regulations, and decrees that I am giving you today.

That's a great reminder for us all, is it not? I think many of us have been faithful to depend upon God in the hard times in life and have often forgotten Him when things are good. Isn't that the normal? I've certainly done that inadvertently and I've witnessed others walking in that same way. We have much to be thankful for in America and it's because of this very thing that we are prone to apathy in our spiritual lives. Haven't you noticed how different it is for believers in other countries who are poverty stricken? I'm thinking of friends we have in Africa that are there as missionaries and how hungry those dear people are to hear from the Lord. I couldn't help but read that and then stop to examine and pray over my own heart. It's always important to do that and to pray as you read in the Bible, asking the Lord to help you apply what you've read. If we don't do that, it would be pointless to read the Bible.

I've only made it through chapter ten or eleven so far in the book of Deuteronomy, but I'm excited to keep reading. No matter that I've read it before, the Lord is always faithful to point new things out to me. Where are you reading right now? Has anything jumped out at you like this? I'd love to hear from you! I think it's good to share in this, because it keeps us all accountable. Thanks for reading my blog, friends. Love to all.

dinner inspiration

Happy Tuesday, friends! I thought I'd share some things we've been eating lately for some dinner inspiration. I'm sharing with you, but please share with me at the end! I love and need to be inspired in this pretty often, especially right now when my husband is limited in what he's eating because he's counting calories. I say "he" like he's doing it alone, but I'm doing this with him.

I have to stop and say how proud I am of him. He's been doing this for three weeks now and he's down about twelve pounds. For now he's just cutting his calorie intake, but he may end up going to a nutritionist before it's all over and done. I'm so, so proud of him! He has stuck with it to the letter and hasn't gone above his caloric intake one time. Even while eating out, he's learned to make better choices.

That being said, he made a trip to Costco for a few things on Sunday and shopped their freezer to find something quick and easy for him to have if I'm not cooking. He found these tilapia fillets and had that for dinner last night.

He said it was really good! I paired it with some long grain wild rice. He told me he felt full and satisfied afterward, which isn't always the case. I'll add here that he drinks two protein shakes everyday for breakfast and lunch and very rarely will snack on something else during the day. He's not much of a snacker, though. (I wish I could say this!)

Last week, I bought these from Costco.

I haven't tried the tilapia yet, but these cod fillets were amazing! They're seasoned with Everything But the Bagel seasoning. I think I paired this with green beans or black beans. I can't remember, but that was last week.

We will probably have tacos again this week, since it's something filling and yummy. I'll probably make pork tenderloin and veggies one night, and we have tuna that is made with all the good things and in the fridge for a quick meal for someone. I've been making cauliflower crust pizza on the weekends, which is so good. I get a thin crust from Kroger and top it with a smidge of alfredo sauce, then spinach, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and a little mozzarella cheese. I've gotten really good at them and they're delicious. I think I may try to convince my hubby to eat some with me one day soon.

For snacks, I like Skinny Pop or a glass of chocolate milk, which isn't necessarily healthy, but better than dessert. If I'm in a dire situation and needing chocolate, I eat a York peppermint patty. One is enough to satisfy the craving. I'd love to hear from you now! What are you eating for dinner this week? Do you have something healthy that you like to snack on?

Thanks for reading my blog, friends! Love to all.

Hello Monday/weekending

Happy Monday, friends! I'm linking up with Holly and Sarah for this weekly blog post.

How was your weekend? Mine was good and got started on Friday by running several errands. I made a grocery run to get us through the weekend, then went to the bank, then got my nails done. I was going to wait on that until Monday, but the dip powder on the corner of one of my nails broke and was driving me crazy.

I was ready for something that was light and spring-like. This is a pinkish white and I love it. It had been almost a month since I'd last had them done and they were way too long. That's the only reason why I sometimes can't wait until the one month mark, because I hate it when my nails are long. I am on a laptop a lot and cannot type at all when they're long. The girl who does them for me is always so hesitant to cut them short and I have to reassure her constantly.

After this, I came home and picked Dad up, then we went to grab lunch from Chick Fil A and brought it back to my house to eat. We had a good day, but it went by way too fast! That always happens when we're together. You'd think we would have run out of conversation ideas a long time ago, but that is NOT the case!

I took him home and came home and got comfy, because it was cold and snow was on its way. And then it came, and took everyone by surprise. 🤣 At 5:30 there was nothing on the ground, but by seven, there were inches. It came down very quickly and was beautiful, but man! I opened the door to let the dogs out at one point and all this snow rushed in at me. It caught me off guard and it was FREEZING.

This was the best kind of snow—wet and fluffy and mostly melted by Sunday. I've mentioned that once March comes, I'm ready for spring. Speaking of, wasn't it lovely that it was still light after seven o'clock last night? I love that part of daylight saving time in the spring. Drew stayed here that night, as did two extra boys. We had a full house, which I love. Todd was working, so I spent the night watching Downton Abbey.

I had already planned to stay home on Saturday, which the snow helped me do. I did some laundry, I cleaned, I did all of Drew's laundry, I made a good lunch and then dinner for myself, I read, I did Bible study homework and that night I watched a Hallmark movie. (Winter Castle.)

This is the Bible study we're doing! It's so good. I've already done the first week.

This was my view Saturday morning as I read the Bible.

And I finished the book I was reading after I did all of that other stuff.

I rode with Todd to church Sunday morning, even though I didn't have to be there early and got my own set of the new in-ear monitors we use for our praise team people. I've been borrowing a set from our tech director using my own ear sponge things and returning them each week. I spent the extra time getting those opened and set up for the next time I need them, then I read my daily reading. I actually got to sing in choir today for the first time in weeks! I've been filling in people in the audio/visual tech booth, which I love, but I also love singing in choir. We came home after church and I had lunch and rested while I listened to choir music. I was back at 2:30 to help my friend Laura who needed someone to be in the "bar" where people sign into choir and get music, waters and cough drops or mints. I helped put out music and passed it out to people who were missing theirs, then helped her get it all cleaned up afterward.

This is our choir rehearsal room and the area I was sitting in is similar to a small kitchen with our music stored in there. There's a sink, fridge and, most importantly, a coffee maker. I sure did help myself to a cup!

I came home after all of that, warmed up some leftovers for dinner and took a shower. Todd and I spent the rest of the night watching The Voice season finale from last season and Survivor. I read in between shows and on commercial breaks.

My favorite parts of the weekend were having all the boys here at home together and the house full of their friends on each day. I love it when they bring their friends to hang out here, which is something they no longer do that often. Noah's best friend was here for part of the weekend and they were all in and out. Jonah got his truck back with some news he wasn't expecting and is now contemplating on what to do. He has a couple of options—he could drive it until it dies and replace the engine or he can sell it for what he can and get something newer. I'm praying for God to give him wisdom and he and his dad are going to spend time today at work weighing all the options.

How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun and exciting? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog, friends. Love to all!

Friday Favorites, Graham's birthday edition (3.11.22.)

Happy Friday, friends and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GRAHAM! More about this in just a few, though. I'm linking up with Andrea today for this weekly blog post of all my favorite things.

This week has been a huge birthday week and it's been my favorite week to date. We celebrated with the six of us Tuesday night, by eating out at Longhorn's. It was delicious, but the company was stellar, if I do say so myself.

I absolutely LOVE being their mom. I have written about them several times this week. so keep scrolling past this post if you want to read more about that. This was probably their favorite night as well, since they love steak so much. All of them got that, except for Noah and me, and we had their parmesan crusted chicken. I brought home leftovers and Todd ate them the next night.

Jonah and Noah turned 19 yesterday and I made one of their favorite meals, beer cheddar joe's. I also made a yellow box cake mix with homemade chocolate frosting. It was okay, but it's pretty sweet, so I won't be eating anymore than the piece I had with Graham as he ate some.

These pictures of Jonah and Noah perfectly describe how completely opposite they are. Jonah has always loved being active. He's never loved watching movies or playing video games. This picture of him on that shelf was during the great lockdown of 2020, when he had the brilliant idea to build that high up shelf in our garage. He stayed up all night watching YouTube videos on how to do it all, he made a list of everything they'd need and the next day he and Todd built the shelf. It is awesome and holds all our old camping gear and lots of other things. Noah, on the other hand has always preferred movies and video games to physical activity. He's loved cars for as long as I can remember, so it's no surprise that he has a fancy one himself. This picture is him with his best friend Jacob. They went to California together in 2019 in the trip of a lifetime. As I write this, they are still best friends and Jacob came home from school for their birthday.

I could cry. Good friends are my favorite.

Noah wanted a car rug for part of his birthday present so that he could do this with it. He cut it up to make it car mats for his fancy car! I love how it turned out and it's his favorite. We had one for the boys when they were little, and it was their favorite thing to play with.

New hair is my favorite! I treated myself to fresh highlights yesterday. These days are always my favorite way to feel pampered and I'm glad my husband never minds. (It's not cheap!)

This made me laugh and cringe a bit this week. Anyone else? These gas prices are for sure not my favorite, but what choice do we have? I am trying not to complain about it when things are so much worse for the people who've fled from their home country of Ukraine. I will say this, though—these gas prices will make me hesitate over how much I drive.

I'm saving the best for last—this handsome gentleman is Graham, the one who made me a mom. Today he turns 23! That seems shocking to me, even as I wrote that sentence. I thought I'd share a little about him.

Ever since he was a very young child, he has always preferred adults to kids his age. I'm glad it finally evened out as he's grown into adulthood, but know that lots of people really bug him. He's particular about friends, girls and just about everything else. It sounds like I'm considering this something negative, but I'm not. I love this about him and the fact that he's always been mature beyond his years. He's a leader, he's known to do the right thing and he loves being able to help people. I can't count how many wrecks he has witnessed and pulled over to assist as he's been on his way to a job. When he took the test in 2018 to be a first responder, he aced it and made the highest score in his class. All of that stuff comes very naturally to him.

Graham loves few things as much as he loves his truck. He has made it his own ever since he purchased it and I love that he has something fun to do with a vehicle he enjoys so much. I have only ridden with him once during the years it's been his and I had to climb into it with the assistance of a stepladder, I kid you not. I cannot lift my leg that high, even by standing on a curb. It's massive. Graham loves having a vehicle that draws attention and one thing he always says to his friends or to anyone who asks him is that he does this because he remembers loving trucks like that when he was little. He is always reminding his friends to act with integrity and to always be respectful of little eyes that may be watching. I'm so proud of him for that and he does keep people in line.

He loves his dog(s). He's been so happy to finally have his own and it's precious how much she adores him. Most of you know I help him out by watching her in the daytime, so I love her too. She's been the sweetest, most fun addition to our home. Everyone who meets her instantly falls in love with this sweet baby.

I am so proud of our Graham. He has always been a joy since the day he was born. He never rocked the boat at all as a toddler or young child, he was always super obedient and easy going. He is good at everything he does, much like his dad. We have always enjoyed him being around us and he never went through any annoying phase a lot of boys go through, even in middle school. I am so glad that he made me a mom. Hopefully we didn't mess him up too much! We've always referred to him as the guinea pig of our sons. He seems to have turned out alright so far and he really does have his head on right. I know that when I'm worried about a situation, we can trust him to take charge. He is not perfect by any means, but he is a loyal brother. When Jonah wrecked my car last summer, I'd never seen him run so fast down the stairs to get to him and he was the first one on the scene that night. He's dependable, trustworthy and faithful. I hope the Lord has someone special for him someday! I know he will be the best husband and dad, Lord willing.

My greatest prayer for him and all the others that he would love the Lord with all of his heart, soul, strength and mind and that he would always love others as he loves himself. In case he's reading this (he's not, I'm sure)—I love you, Graham! Happy birthday to you, my son.

Thanks for reading my blog! Love to all.

thankful Thursday, birthday edition

I am using this whole post to share about Jonah and Noah, since today is their nineteenth birthday. I am so grateful that the Lord saw fit to make me a mom. I have a sign that hangs in my living room that says motherhood is a holy privilege, and it is. From the earliest age that I can remember, all I wanted to be was a wife and mom, so it's been an honor to be able to live out my dream. I say that, but don't think for a minute that I deeply treasured all of those years. I did in a way, but there were also years that I was resentful and took the time I had at home for granted. I am human and though I did sometimes share only the best moments of that time, I did try my best to slow down and be present for all the moments, big and small. I also tried to remind myself often that it was normal to feel those negative feelings and I do honestly believe that. I shared that with a young mom a few weeks ago and this was before the age of social media came about. I can't imagine being a young mom today, with people sharing all their best reels of life all over the internet. The competition is fierce and one is simply unable to keep up. I share that to encourage you to pray for these younger moms of today. They're living in times we couldn't have dreamed of and we need to pray that they cling to the Lord during these challenging years.

It does not at all seem possible that our youngest sons are entering into their final teenage year. We've had teenagers in our home for an entire decade! I did love their younger years, but I have to say that I love these adult years even more. That's not to say they don't disappoint me from time to time or that they're perfect, but overall, they are such great guys. All four of them, but today I'm talking about Jonah and Noah.

I am so proud of them! In the last year they've gone through a lot of change. Because they've stayed home and not gone off to school, they have new friends and have let some of their other ones go. They might pick back up after the semester ends in May, but they've adapted well to a new life. Even more than they were before, as a sibling group all our sons are closer than they've ever been. I am so proud of them for this and you can only imagine how it thrills my heart to be able to write that. I don't take it for granted, either, this is something that I continually thank God for on a daily basis. When the boys were little and we would be gathered around the dinner table, I can remember telling them that friends would come and go over the years, but the friendships they had at that table would be the ones that lasted a lifetime. They're brothers who are close in age, but more than that, they're best friends.

Jonah and Noah went from being full time students to full time employees after a summer off after graduation. That's a lot for a young man, but they've done incredibly well at adjusting and embracing their new normal. It's not been easy for either of them, but I am so proud at how they've handled this. In all of that change, my role in their lives changed and I've become more of a sympathetic support and an encourager to them than anything else. They all know that they can talk to me about anything and everything and they're each really good at calling me, particularly Graham and Drew. They've had good things happen throughout this last year and they've had some challenging times happen throughout the last year, but they've had loads of integrity and have been able to rise above the situation in that moment.

Like I said, I am so proud of them. They make me laugh, they make me cry (in a good way), they make me proud, they make me cringe a little. They also drive me to pray for them often, which is never a bad thing. I wish they had better relationships with the Lord and I wish that for all of my sons. They do love Him and for that I am thankful, they're just not very mature in their faith. Looking back, I try to remember that I wasn't either at that age, but by the time I'd hit my late twenties, I was. I have much hope that they'll come around to that someday and pray for that and believe that it will happen when the Lord draws them back to Him. He did that for me—He only let me get so far from Him until He pulled me back, almost as if I were on a tether. I am so grateful He did that and since that day, I've never looked back. Again, I assure you that I have loads of room for improvement in my life, but the Lord is faithful to work on me everyday of my life.

I will wrap this up with a few of my favorite memories and pictures of them from throughout the years, along with some ways that I pray for them.

From the time they were born, I have prayed and trusted the Lord for the truth of Proverbs 22:6, which says this:

Start a youth out on his way, even when he grows old he will not depart from it.

One of my favorite passages to pray over my sons is one that comes from Numbers 6:24-26, which was a priestly blessing for the Israelites that the Lord gave Moses to tell Aaron and his sons.

May the LORD bless you and protect you; may the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the LORD look with favor on you and give you peace.

m

My greatest prayer and desire for them comes out of Deuteronomy 6:4-6, which says this:

Listen, Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart.

I pray this for all four of them, their future spouses and children and grandchildren, should the Lord have that planned for each of them.

Happy birthday, Jonah and Noah. I am thankful the Lord made me your mom!

Thanks for reading my blog, friends. I am joining in with Rebecca Jo and Leslie for this weekly blog post. Love to all!
