Happy Wednesday, friends! I'm linking up with Anne today for this blog post on things I'm currently doing right now.
choosing: birthday gifts, dinner plans and party plans for all the birthdays and celebrations we have coming up. I love this time of year, but it's a lot! I wouldn't have it any other way.
imagining: going somewhere again! I love having something to look forward to and I need to have something to look forward to for my own sanity, even if it's a day trip with friends.
making: all the dinners and food. It seems like the majority of my life is spent in the kitchen, or at least thinking about meals. I'm in a rut again and need some fresh ideas. I plan on spending some time on Pinterest and some favorite blogs soon to be inspired.
recommending: quiet time resources. I get asked that question more than any other. People reach out to me regularly about Bibles, writing plan and such every few days. I am always glad to share what has worked for me, though I'm certainly no expert. I also get asked about books or devotions for younger people a lot.
wearing: all the comfy clothes. I pretty much only dress up on days when I leave the house, so on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Any other time I am dressed for comfort or warmth.
Thanks for reading along! Love to all.
For some reason I am SO TIRED of cooking right now. Ugh. Why do we need to eat supper every day!?!? Would I be a bad parent if we just skipped supper a couple of times a week :)
ReplyDeleteNatasha- that may be my problem! Let's just all skip some meals, or have more on your own nights. It's exhausting! 😂
DeleteI'm definitely someone who likes to make plans and have things to look forward to for my mental health, so I get it! I've adjusted a bit over the past year, but I'm still finding various things to look forward to at least.

Anne- thank you! I'll go look at those when I get home. I'm grateful for any inspiration I can find!
DeleteYup, right there with you on the cooking blues. I love having a little getaway planned. I think it is huge for your mental well being. Love that you have lots to celebrate this month.
ReplyDeleteSo many of us are in the same boat, I think. Thankfully we have one another to lean on. Yes! I am so glad for all the fun birthday dinners we have planned. ❤️ Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteWe are all imagining going somewhere again!!
ReplyDeletePamela- I know that is true! I am very hopeful at the possibilities!
ReplyDeleteI am imagining the same! We made reservations for a very small trip for June, and then I am going to start planning one of our dream bucket list trips - even if it is just to get me looking forward to something. :)
