Happy Thursday, friends! It's a bonus blog post day, since I love to find things to be thankful for on Thursdays. I hate the idea of missing this day, so a bonus blog post it is; you should read the one underneath this one. I'll jump in!
I'm thankful that I didn't have much of a "gut punch" this week.
I'm thankful for extra hours to work!
I'm thankful for my church family, especially as we walked through something sad together this week.
I'm thankful for work besties!
I'm thankful for our town library. I visited there yesterday, and was reminded of why it's my happy place.
I'm thankful for my family and friends, and their wise advice.
I'm thankful that I've talked to all my sons this week and that I've seen three of them throughout.
I'm thankful for days when there's food at work and I don't have to pack a lunch.
I'm thankful for the nights when Jonah gets home early and wants to talk.
I'm thankful for their hugs! I am dying to get one from Noah next week.
I'm thankful for plans this weekend!
What are you thankful for this week? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. Love to all!
Are you getting more able to read again? I hope so! Can't wait to hear your plans and maybe we can talk on the phone sometime soon. I know Thanksgiving has the potential to be hard for you this year and I am thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteI have been reading a really good book, so I am hopeful that this will continue! I would love to chat soon. I have mixed feelings about the day, but again...I'm hopeful. Thank you!!
DeleteToday is Millie Day and I get to spend it with my 3 granddaughters. They are fun and active and keep me occupied all day, which is so exhausting and yet, keeps me going :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have an amazing day!
Aw! I hope you have the very best day with them! Thanks, friend.
DeleteSo much to be thankful for- keep going- you got this- you are crushing life! XO
ReplyDeleteYes! Thank you, my friend!
DeleteSo thankful for cooler temps in Waco this morning! It was a little warm when I decorated the inside of our home for Christmas but will be perfect to finish the porch Saturday. It makes my heart happy that you are enjoying your new tree! I know women always do so much for everyone and we need to treat ourselves too!
ReplyDeleteI know you loved that! I can say the same in Memphis; starting this week it was in the mid seventies! That is way too warm for November. Thank you for that! I really do love, and you are so right.
DeleteI'm thankful that is has been raining all day long today; we really needed that rain!
ReplyDeleteI remember you saying that a while back. I'm glad you finally got some of that much needed rain!
DeleteI am thankful for cozy afternoons on the couch. And for the beautiful blog friendships I have made here. You are inspiring, my friend!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, YES! I am here for a cozy afternoon. I'm looking forward to one myself tomorrow! I am thankful for that too!
DeleteI need to remember to give thanks for the library, too. Was so tickled to run into one of my former students working in our neighborhood library!! And he recognized me before I recognized him. Libraries are one of my happy places, too.
ReplyDeleteI love our local library! How fun that you ran into a former student at the library. I love that!
