Happy Wednesday, friends! I'm so glad you're here to join in with me as I share what I'm currently loving, doing outside, cooking/grilling, excited about, and wearing this month. In July we'll talk about what we're currently loving, savoring, celebrating, remembering, and trying. I'll jump right in!
I'm currently loving being a member of Amazon Prime again. I finally bit the bullet and joined again so that I could take advantage of using my Kindle and their Kindle Unlimited deals.
I spent the night at home last night, which is kind of miraculous. It's not often I stay home at night, but I enjoyed the evening. I even got comfy early in the day so that I wouldn't be as tempted to pick up and leave when it got quiet. I finished the show Sirens on Netflix, and I'm not sure how I feel about it just yet. Speaking of shows to watch, what streaming app should I consider adding to Netflix? That one is all I have at the moment. Do you have a favorite that doesn't cost a small fortune?
The only thing I'm currently doing outside is keeping things somewhat decent; this means that I'm pulling weeds in my flower beds, and I'm cleaning the eaves/gutters as they're needed. I didn't sign up to do all the outside work on my own home! I actually don't mind it, because Jonah does most of it for me still by keeping the yard mowed. I can and will do this.
What was I thinking when I came up with these prompts?? 🤣 I'm not cooking/grilling much of anything either, but yesterday I made these!
I wish they tasted better than they do! They need some extra flavor, but I could probably add some hot sauce to them or something and they would taste better. Or cheese? I meant to add parmesan cheese, but I forgot to before I put them in the oven.
I'm excited about a lot of things!
- more time by the pool (I need to find one to use!)
- another trip
- weekly music on the square
- new memories to make
- spending quality time with my people
I'm wearing the same kinds of things I normally wear: dresses, jeans/shirts, swimsuit/coverup.
Thanks for being here to read and link up today, friends! I can't wait to read your posts for the prompts this month. Love to all!
Jenn ❤️
I enjoyed The Rom-Commers and thought it was really cute! We haven't been grilling much either; our weather is just not cooperating.
ReplyDeleteI'm at the point where I wish I could just finish it already!
DeleteMy eldest signed up with Amazon Prime a while ago and I just use hers and I have found some great things to watch but I do like Disney+. It has some good shows on there and of course all the Marvel movies which I love.
ReplyDeleteI am sick of pulling weeds in my garden! We really need the grass mowed but that is my fellas job, he likes doing it.
I used to have Disney+ and I loved it too! I'm thinking maybe Max would be good? There are certain shows I used to love watching that might have been on the Bravo channel.
DeleteI just started Sirens last night- enjoying it- so much drama :)
ReplyDeleteSo much drama!
DeleteI've not heard of Sirens- with the kids home this summer, Donnie and I haven't been watching our "programs" in the evening, lol. During the school year, it seemed like we watched a show every evening but this summer we've not watched a thing! I think we have just about every streaming app there is :(. Donnie or a kid has a need/want for all of them. I have no idea what they cost. I don't want to know! Your outfits are cute and I hope you find a pool!
ReplyDeleteLife is different when the kids are home! I laughed over you having all the apps, because I used to as well, and now I just have the one. I definitely miss some of the primetime shows/channels, but Hulu and YouTube TV are so expensive!
DeleteI'm glad you got Prime back because I think it was something you missed and used a lot.
ReplyDeleteI pretty much retire my jeans for the summer months.
I liked the first episodes of Sirens more than the last ones and I agree. I am not sure how I feel. I wasn't expecting that.
I think reading and staying at home is a good sign!
Maybe Peacock if you like the Bravo shows? Don't forget you have Prime video and it has lots of shows.
I'm glad for it too! I'm about to retire my jeans, because I almost died in them the last time I wore them. I forgot about Prime video! Peacock is the one I may want, not Max. I miss the Below Decks show!
DeleteLove all your outfits and so glad you are back with Amazon Prime!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am too!
DeleteThe plants are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope I can keep them alive and to the point of thriving. Here's to hoping!
DeleteNetflix is definitely my favorite streaming app. And now you will have prime video too. Sirens was pretty crazy, but very addictive. Thanks for the fun link party!
ReplyDeleteHi there-take a look at the bundle offer-Disney+, Hulu, and Max for 16.99 a month. A great deal and lots to watch. I just found your blog and am enjoying your authentic content. I know you’ve had a challenging year but it’s great to see you getting out there and discovering life!
ReplyDeleteI took pause from blogging (life got crazy) but I am so glad to see you're still hosting this linkup!
ReplyDeleteIt took me a week to find time for commenting, so I don't know how "current" things are any more! I'm overwhelmed by all the choices of streaming services, and our family has always shared services so I don't even know what we have other than Amazon Prime Video and I think the Disney/Hulu/Max bundle. Hope you find a pool you can use - I'm intending to make use of ours as often as I can this summer. Hope you're having a great week!
