Happy Thursday! I feel like it's been a while since I've done a Thankful Thursday post; I was talking about this recently with someone and it made me miss this. I always feel like I have so much to be thankful for, and this week is no exception. I'll jump right in!
This week I'm thankful for:
- normal morning routines
- that I have multiple ways to read the Bible, whether it's actual reading or listening
- The Bible Recap
- the narrator of the Bible on YouVersion in the NLT translation (he makes it come alive and is very theatrical...this helps while I'm reading Leviticus)
- music
- week date nights with Chris
- good memories to replace the ones I have from one year ago at this time
- a good week at work
- lunch out with co-workers on a professional development day
- plans for the weekend that make me happy...a sister date
- the desire to cook at home and eat in more
- a show to look forward to watching every night
- good phone conversations
- the gift of blog friends and reading what they write everyday
- having trips to look forward to
- warmer weather and sunshine
- a good choir rehearsal
- a really great night of sleep
- that I'm a morning person and that I never have issues getting up when my alarm goes off
What are you thankful for this week? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. Love to all!
Jenn

Time with friends, beautiful weather, and good food just to name a few.
ReplyDeleteThese are all great things! I'm always thankful for good food as well.
DeleteHey Jenn! I'm continually grateful for the peace I have in my home. Moving in, moving out and then back in changed things and now I walk around thanking God for bringing us back. It's kind of bizarre and yet, so like our Lord :)
ReplyDeleteI love this! I'm so happy for you, sweet friend. I am always blown away by how God works!
DeleteGreat list! Must feel so good to get out to work each day after being snowed and iced in! I am thankful for more mild temps this week- enough leftovers that I didn't have to cook for two nights and senior year traditions :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, friend! I love what you're thankful for this week. That's such a sweet list you have!
DeleteThis is so great! I have so much to be thankful for as well. I am thankful for the weather this week and my visit to my old school!
ReplyDeleteThanks, sweet lady! I know you feel the same. I love the things you listed!
DeleteYou have some wonderful things to be thankful for! I am thankful for my family and having them all home this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks, friend! I love that.
DeleteI'm thankful to be a morning person as well! I typically don't need my alarm clock- though I set it just in case- on days that I sub and have to wake up early. Your list is a good one!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that such a gift?! Thank you!
DeleteHello, lovely friend. I am thankful for the peace that comes from getting older. I am realizing that each day holds promise, and I no longer count the days until the weekend, or summer, or anything. It is freeing. Have a cozy evening.
ReplyDeleteHello right back at you! I love that and can totally picture that. How wonderful of a gift that is!
DeleteThis is such a great list. This week I’m thankful for free health care (in Canada) as I had to take advantage of it! I’m also thankful for warmer temperatures which meant we could excavate our driveway and sidewalk from under all the snow/ice!
ReplyDeleteThanks, friend! That's amazing that you have that. Both of those things are great things to be thankful for!
