Happy Fri-yay, friends! It's been a week. I feel like all of us who work in school settings deserve a metal for getting to this point. Ha! Yesterday was one of those days that if something was going to happen, it happened all in one day. It was the most crazy day! I'll jump right into sharing some favorites from the week. Buckle up!

This sweet baby is one of my favorites! Jonah took his baby girls to the vet on Wednesday for shots, and this one (Stella) had a very rough day there. She was so nervous that she had two major accidents in the kennel; it was so bad that they had to give her a full bath. Poor baby! She was exhausted afterward from all the trauma.

This wall display of kindness is my favorite! I love seeing the students I work with show off their contributions they added to this display.

I came across this picture yesterday and saved it to my phone. It's one of my favorite memories! Graham's first vehicle was a 1983 Ford Bronco, and these girls loved it. This was at a youth event one March weekend; they all climbed into his car and sprinkled glitter all over his seats, and then posed for this picture.

Dinner out with Marilyn Monday night was my favorite! And so was this margarita.

Getting dressed each day is still my favorite! These are the Monday-Thursday outfits. I think Monday's was my favorite, with the oversized green button down.

Seeing Chris twice this week was a favorite! And so is Reese; look how big she's getting! She's so bad. 🤣

Other favorite moments this week have to do with my sons, and connecting with sweet students that I see everyday. This is the best part of my job! What was a favorite for you this week? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. Love to all!

  1. I was only at school two days this week and they were tiring; I can imagine how five must feel! I like the your first outfit the best. It looks comfy and springy :). Your meal out looks good and how fun to get to spend time with Marilyn and Chris this week. Your weeks seem full with school, then evening events some nights, seeing your boys, choir, etc but they seem full in the best way. I hope your weekend is a great one!

    1. It IS tiring! I went to bed every night before nine this week. I'm glad I'm able to do that, because it takes me a minute to unwind once I lay down. Thanks for the outfit love! The weeks are full, you're right. I love it, though! When Chris comes over, he leaves before six, because he has that long drive home. I always have a good amount of down time after that, and I get to sit and work on my blog/read others' blogs and watch a show. It's the perfect balance! Thanks, friend! I hope the same for you.

  2. Reese is so big! Does she have Eddie Otis issues? I love the green shirt outfit. I just love kelly green. This is that time of year - very long days and weeks and being off routine for testing. I feel for you. Your Mexican, Marilyn, and Marg look great! And on a Monday - how fun! I hope today goes by quickly! Happy Friday!

    1. She is SO big! And probably, because she is very naughty. Ha! Thank you! I still love this green shirt, three years later. I know you remember these days! I treat each one as a new day, so I don't mind it too much, as long as there isn't added drama. It was a very fun Monday night out with Marilyn! We laughed our heads off that night at the table. It's been a while since we've been out for margaritas together. You would be so proud of me; I just asked my co-workers in a group text out for an afterwork drink and appy! I'll keep you posted on how that goes. Happy Friday!

    1. It was a great week! I'm so glad it's the weekend, though. Today is the science portion of the test; it may spill over into Monday. We're almost there! It was a great night out with Mar! I love her so much.

  4. I am still absolutely LOVING those pink pants! That whole outfit is adorable. I am so jealous of your short sleeves. We had really beautiful weather one day this week and I just could not wait for that to be a bit more permanent.
