๐ŸŽ„ Friday Favorites, 12.1.2023 ๐ŸŽ„

Happy Friday, friends! And happy December! I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika for today's favorite blog post of the week. I'll jump right in!

I have some favorite outfits from this week! I think one of my favorite color combinations is navy blue and forest green.

I got this shirt and the boots from JC Penny a couple of weeks ago, in an early Black Friday Sale. The boots are the ones I shared about last week, and they're so comfy! They were $20! I wore the shirt on Thanksgiving day with the dark green pants, and with jeans on Wednesday at work.

Christmas earrings are another favorite, and the more glitter the better! It's the one time of year you'll hear me say this.

Remember a couple of weeks ago, when I told you about a bag I'd picked up at an antique mall that I had plans for? This is it, and using it as a bag was my plan. Isn't it adorable?

Most of my clothes are a few years old, so these outfits are nothing new; I just don't wear them that often.

My morning quiet time is my favorite, especially when done by the light of the Christmas tree! I'm still reading along in the New Testament with The Bible Recap, and I plan on starting all over again with them in January of next year. I love to read the Bible through each year, and I've missed that this year.

Christmas reading is my favorite! I have big plans to finish these soon.

They're my favorite! I was giving them treats when I took this. They're all so sweet, even if one of them does drive me bonkers (the puppy). Oldest to youngest: Crash (the white one), Callie (the German Shepherd), Chip (the reddish brown one in back), Oakley (the black one is Graham's baby), and Chloe (the golden retriever pup is Jonah's). They were all sitting so pretty for me!

And then there's this one. Chloe is definitely something special! Noah took this when he got home from work the other night and sent it to all of us. She's so funny! She really does walk around with this toy like this.

This new Christmas tree stamp for our coffee cup sleeves in the bookstore is my favorite! I bought it last weekend.

The view out the bookstore window is my favorite right now! It was all hands on deck with the decorating of the church yesterday. I did the tree skirt and the poinsettias.

Pedicures are my favorite! I went immediately after work yesterday because my feet were killing me. This felt amazing! I got sparkly red to match my nails.

And lastly, this memory is one of my favorites! We'd gone to the zoo for Zoo Lights, and the boys always loved sitting in front of this fireplace to warm up. These nights were always so much fun!

Did you happen to read my blog posts this week?

Saturday was Share 4 Somethings.

Monday was a weekending recap.

Tuesday was my Christmas "come on in".

Wednesday was What's Up Wednesday.

And Thursday I shared what I've been reading, watching, and listening to

Wednesday December 6 is our last Currently link party of 2023! We'll be talking about what we're currently loving, buying, preparing, excited for, and planning. I can't believe it's our last one of the year, but we'll be picking back up in January with all new prompts. I'm working on them now and will let you know in a couple of weeks what they'll be throughout the year.

What was something that was a favorite of yours from this week? I'd love to hear about it. Thanks for reading my blog, friends! Love to all. ๐ŸŽ„

  1. Love your outfits this week! So festive and I also love a plaid with navy in it - I love black watch plaid.
I need a pedicure badly! I think I am going to get sparkly red, too.

  5. I've been keeping up with you but most times my iPad won't let me comment - ugh. Anyway, so much fun to see the festivities around blog world this last week :). Everything in your world looks ready to CELEBRATE. You *may* have just inspired me to stop for a pedicure later today - it's a gross rainy day and I've got to go out for errands anyway. . .
Have a great weekend! Do all 5 dogs live with you??? They are cuties but that is a LOT. Looks like they are all pretty good friends?

  6. Do you have a secret for keeping up with the dog hair? We have one dog and I feel like I should bring out the vacuum twice a day! Love your favorites, they go along with your holiday theme, comfy, cozy, lived in. You're so down to earth, Jennifer, it's a joy to read your blog.

  10. Jenni, I hope you were able to get your pedicure! Thanks for that. The five dogs do all live with us, but they get along really well! They're pretty well-behaved and all play very nicely. Luckily, we love dogs!

  11. Thanks, Pamela! The only "secret" I have is that we own a Dyson stick vacuum. If I use it once a day, it does a pretty good job at managing the hair. I've also heard that two Eufy robot vacuums would do the trick. It drives me slightly crazy, the dog hair on the floor, but I try not to let it get to me too terribly much.

  17. Ah, pedicures are my favorite too!! For sure:) But so are puppies that sit so sweetly waiting for treats! What a great photo. I am sooo behind in reading and visting my favorite blogs - but hope to catch up tomorrow; however, I just wanted to make sure that we are doing the same prompts this week as we did in November?? You probably announced/explained that along the way and, if so, please forgive me. Just checkin:)

  20. Jennifer, I do love pedicures! It always feels like such an amazing way to treat myself, particularly when I went after work Thursday. My feet and legs were so sore from the floor at our church, so it felt heavenly. Ummmm....I thought they were different?? I'm going to check now and will post an update on Monday when I figure out what I did. Thank you for catching the mistake and letting me know!

how to be a woman of God who walks with integrity (according to Psalm 26)

Happy Saturday and bonus blog post day, friends! I was inspired to write this as a result of my quiet time on Friday morning. Psalm 26 was...
