Happy Thursday, friends! I hope you're having a good week; mine has been good. I don't understand how a week can feel both short and long at the same time, but that's how this one has felt. It's not a bad thing, and I'm not complaining, but my days have been thrown off since I came home from Louisville on Monday. I have one thing I want to talk about here today...
I have a major life update: I accepted a new job yesterday as a SPED (special education) assistant at Crosswind Elementary School! I’ll be returning to work full time on July 28, and I am beyond excited and grateful to be a Crosswind Eagle once again (I worked there as an interim from January to May of 2023), and ultimately a Collierville Dragon.
This will be my third stint in my town’s amazing school district, and the Lord gave me the perfect job that only He could have picked out, because it wasn’t what I was looking for. This will also end my time at my beloved church as the bookstore manager, a job I have loved for two years. While I’m sad to be leaving my current job, I am excited at what’s to come, and I feel like my future is looking bright.
Psalm 103:17 says that from eternity to eternity His faithful love is toward those who fear Him…and while there is nothing extraordinary or special about me, it’s all the Lord working everything out. He is the giver of every good and perfect gift (James 1:17), and He is sovereign over all things, whether lives, circumstances, jobs, illnesses, or futures. Thank you for being here for me everyday and for your outpouring of love, encouragement, and best of all, prayers. I wouldn’t be standing today if not for Jesus! Do you know Him? I’m always here if you want to talk more about this. As always, email me at allboys@gmail.com if you ever want to talk more.
I'm keeping it short and sweet today, but thanks for reading my blog today, friends! Love to all.
Jenn ❤️
