Happy Thursday, friends! We are one week away from Thanksgiving; it's so hard to believe, right? Do you have big plans? I'd love to hear about them at the end of today's post. Here's what I'm thankful for this week.
I'm thankful for friends at work who let me talk things out and process.
I'm thankful that I didn't have any unauthorized charges on my bank account this week that left me in the negative!
I'm thankful that I've learned to figure things out on my own, no matter how long it's taken me to get here. My default always used to be to text my ex, but not anymore!
I'm thankful for things to do after work at night.
I'm thankful that tomorrow is Friday!
I'm thankful for my home that I've made mine; she's beautiful all decked out for Christmas!
I'm thankful that I get a week off for Thanksgiving break.
I'm thankful that I got to see my niece and her family Sunday night!
I'm thankful for Chris, and that I got to see him before he left town this morning. We had dinner Tuesday night, and it'll be a week before I see him again. I can't really remember life without him, and I'm glad I'll also be out of town while he is so I won't be bored.
I'm thankful for things that make me appreciate of my son's dogs, and the reminder to not get upset when they act like dogs.
I'm thankful for afternoon naps in my recliner.
I'm thankful for my siblings, and that we're all so close.
I'm thankful for the upbringing I had; I have an extremely difficult student at school who is going to be a jerk, because of the culture of his religion and how they treat women.
I'm thankful for my car and that it's paid off.
I'm thankful that I get to do things that are fun to me.
I'm thankful for the never-ending, overwhelming love of God, and the thousands of ways He shows me that love each and everyday of my life.
What are you thankful for this week? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. Love to all!

Enjoyed reading this- we are thankful for a lot of the same things. Sometimes I see students who I know are being raised in a culture that is different from Western culture and I think (and hope) that the best parts of Western culture will influence them positively? How great that you got to spend more time with your out of state visiting family! Have a great Thursday, friend!
