Happy Tuesday, friends! I'm linking up with Amy and Marsha today for Fashion Files. In last week's post I talked about my recent Old Navy haul; this week I'm showing it off!
I love these gauze dresses! I bought one in yellow, brown, black, and a light blue that I thought was white. The yellow is a regular size, but the other three are all petit, and I like those better.
And lastly, here's the denim dress that I bought and wore yesterday to work.
I have some things to say about dressing for my current job: it's that anything goes! I can wear anything, quite literally. There's a man that I work with that wears gray sweatpants everyday. I kid you not. So that's why I say I can wear whatever. That being said, I don't plan on going loosey goosey with my clothes; I'll dress the same as I usually do.

ReplyDeleteI do think the petite is a better length but the yellow is gorgeous, too. That is the true test - wearing everything right away. Dresses are just so easy! It looks like effort without any effort. You are making me want to try on one of the gauzy but the chest region makes me hesitate.

DeleteLove your summer wardrobe! I just bought that gauze dress this morning in black. I did a basic tshirt refresh at those prices too - but so many of them are described as crop! I might be getting too old for ON ;)

DeleteDressing for a pedicure is always a challenge, isn't it? I love that light blue dress the best! Aren't you a teacher? And, the other teachers wear grey sweatpants? I always dressed up because I wanted to be regarded as a professional so I dressed that way. Thanks for linking up!

Yes! Thank you for that! I co-teach on a regular basis, but my actual job title is a SPED (special education) para professional. And yes, the other man wears gray sweatpants. From what I hear, our summer program is lax in everything, so people feel free to dress more casually. I can't do that, though...and will just keep on dressing the same as I would in a normal school year.
