Happy Friday, friends! I hope all of you had a great week; I want to hear about it at the end of this post, so stay tuned. Here are some favorite things and moments from this week...
This body butter from Trader Joe's is a favorite! I had three tubs; I'm down to two now since I emptied this one yesterday morning before work. I use this as part of my morning makeup/getting dressed routine. I always start with brushing my teeth, then I wash my face, moisturize, put on foundation/sunscreen with SPF 50; while all of that dries, I use this body butter and liberally apply it to my dry skin. Do you moisturize your body each day? It's part of my skin routine, and Mom always told me to take good care of my skin.
I'm staying at my friend's house to watch her dogs this weekend, and her pool is my favorite! I love the material on the bottom and edges of this pool, I love the color of the material (concrete?), and I love that it makes the water this shade of gray.
Not only are these pens my favorite, they're also the favorite of my little student! We color with them everyday during her recess time.
Rocket has been on the war path again and has been chewing up things at home; because of that, I've had to do some rearranging on the bookshelf that Chris put together for me a few weeks ago. I don't mind this rearranging part! Decorating spaces in my home will always be my favorite.

Hands down my favorite thing this week was picking up Alec and getting to hear all about his trip... though I think we're only on day 8 or so of his trip but we sat and talked for a couple of hours a couple of times yesterday. He's got SO MANY stories. I love that he had such a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteI know you were so happy to see him and have him back home! That's amazing; I am so glad that he had such an incredible trip.
DeleteThat pool is gorgeous! I hope you spend so much time in it! I love their yard, too. I think your house/dog sitting at only houses with pools is genius! Lol!
ReplyDeleteIt really is, and I do too! Girl, this was one of the best decisions I have ever made to do this for people over the summer. I'll keep it up, honestly, throughout the year!
DeleteYay! for happy mail. The pool looks fabulous! I love how you arranged the books on the shelf...I hope you have a great 4th of July weekend.
ReplyDeleteYay for happy mail! It's amazing. Thanks for the bookshelf love! I hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend!
DeleteThat pool looks beautiful and so refreshing. Hope you have a wonderful 4th!
ReplyDeleteThanks, friend! It is SO refreshing and relaxing. We've been swimming each night! I hope you and Michael have a great weekend at home!
DeleteI moisturise most days, at the moment I am using a Dove lotion which does the job.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the pool, it sounds like you have earned some time to relax with the non-top running about at work. Your bookshelf looks so cute and the drawings too.
Have a wonderful weekend!
That's great! Thanks for that, friend. I hope you enjoy your weekend!
DeleteHappy Fourth of July, my friend! Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th! Thanks, friend! I hope you and your family enjoy the weekend.
DeleteHi friend! I am so glad you have a long weekend break by a pool! Love those sayings at the end.
ReplyDeleteHello! Thanks for that! I hope you and Brook are able to spend some meaningful time together this weekend. I'll be thinking of you both and praying!
DeleteI am sure that job can be exhausting BUT I love the work outfit :)
ReplyDeleteIt can be, but I love it so much and wouldn't have it any other way.
DeleteMy favorite thing about the week was just having nothing major on the calendar and nowhere to go! It's a delicate balance between going stir crazy or being way too crazy busy, and I felt like we hit the balance just right!
ReplyDeleteThat's so nice sometimes! I agree with you!
