Prime Purchases, October edition

Happy Tuesday, friends! I'm linking up with Tanya at The Other Side of the Road today for this monthly blog post on all things Amazon Prime. Who doesn't love seeing what other people buy??? I've been influenced too many times to count. I'll share some things I've purchased in other months as well that I love, in case it inspires anyone in their shopping or gift giving.

I decided to try these essential oils...but now I need a difuser.

So...since we all had covid last year, my nose has not been right. It's not like this all the time, but it comes and goes. There are times when I smell something burning, or someone smoking. It was so strong one time at a gas station while I was pumping, that I was whipping around to see who was smoking while pumping gas. It was nobody...it was my nose! It's crazy, but a certain smell will become burned into my nose and it's all I smell most hours of the day. Like I said, this comes and goes...but I am willing to try anything to try and remedy that. That's why I bought these oils. I use them on a shirt I wear or on my pillow case, or on my nightgown that I sleep in. Whatever I smell usually makes me very nauseous and that was what I dealt with for the last three weeks. I'm happy to say that as I write this, I've not experienced this sensation in about four days now. (Knock on wood.)

These oils smell great, though. The only one I don't love is the lavender scent, but the others are good.

I bought Jonah and Noah each a pair of fleece pajama pants...and I don't know why I can't make the picture work, but here is a link for you. Noah's are Christmas lights that are really cute and Jonah opted for black and gray buffalo check. The quality is good and they're true to size. They love them and Noah has worn his every night since they came in. (Even to Sonic. 🤣)

I bought me a new Pop Socket for my new phone! I love it and have my eye on a Christmas one in a week or so.

(Here is the one I'm eyeing for Christmas.)

Also pictured above is the dark green case you see on my new phone. I've been really impressed with the quality of the Crave cases. I like their prices a lot better than what others cost. Here is the one I have.

I was looking back on my other purchases and they were all necessity type things like shampoo/conditioner, hair products, my sons' favorite socks, etc. You don't even want to see all the books I've purchased, so I'll spare you that, but I've read them all! It's your turn! What is something you've loved that you've purchased lately? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog, friends. Love to all. ❤

  1. I always wanted a pop socket but they never fit with my covers. They look so handy though

  3. I didn’t know you had Covid- glad you made a recovery except for your smelling issue that comes and goes. The first person I knew personally who tested positive for Covid was a young lady whose only symptom was loosing her sense of smell- she did not get sick at all. But the loss of her sense of smell remained for a long time.

  4. Rebecca Jo, my last phone cover would not work with a Pop Socket and I greatly missed having one. This time around I made sure to buy a case with a smooth back and without ridges. Having one helps me to hang on to my phone better. I'm trying not to drop it so much! I'm rolling my eyes at myself.

  6. Thanks, Maria! I got it from my husband and then the rest of our sons all came down with it as well, but the only one of us that tested was our son Drew. He had to be tested because of his work, but the rest of us knew we had it with the symptoms we had. Drew, Noah and I all had flu like symptoms- high fever for a couple days, congestions, achiness, but the rest of them only had sinus/allergy symptoms. It wasn't too bad...but the anxiety of it all nearly killed me. I suffered with that so bad the whole time and had to just watch Hallmark movies all day for days on end.

I know we still have antibodies, because I accidentally passed it on to my friend and she contracted it the next day and recently had her antibodies tested- and she still has them. I'm so glad for that! I hope you have a great day, my friend!

how to be a woman of God who walks with integrity (according to Psalm 26)

Happy Saturday and bonus blog post day, friends! I was inspired to write this as a result of my quiet time on Friday morning. Psalm 26 was...
