Happy Saturday, friends! Thanks for being here today to talk about something you loved, something that sustained you, something you're carrying forward from this month to the next, and something you're making space for. I'll jump right in!
Something I loved this month was...
...getting and setting up my new Bible with tabs, time spent with friends that I met up with for lunch, repurposing and decluttering things in my home, soft serve margaritas on date nights with Chris, summery IG graphics, long day trips with Chris for iced coffee, finally getting my bedroom rearranged to how I'd been wanting it, and nighttime swims with my man. These are the things that made my summer feel extra magical!
Something that sustained me in July were nights at my house with Chris.
A few other things that sustained me were the weeks I had off from working, being able to enjoy quiet mornings at home, the reinstatement of family dinner night each week, and simple nights spent at home eating delicious meals.
Something I'm carrying forward from this month to next is my Sunday afternoon routine: church at nine, grocery store afterward, home for lunch and cleaning, and family dinner by five. In between lunch, cleaning, and family dinner is the time I spend meal/snack/lunch prepping for the week ahead.
Something I'm making space for in August is the gift of time: time to work, time to prepare, time to recharge, and time to be social.
Thanks for linking up with me today, friends. I can't wait to read your posts! I'll see you back here on Monday. Love to all!
Jen

Thanks, friend! It was a great month, and I am so thankful I figured out that Sunday routine. I hope you're enjoying the weekend!
DeleteSomething that sustained me is the fact that the Grim Reaper took Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell out and on the way to the hot place. Less evil in the Senate is always a good thing! 🔥
ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting thing to pick for something that sustained you. I pray and hope that you find true joy someday, and not in just the political world. Life is so much more than politics and "religion"! I wish you well.
DeleteSo many great photos! Your home is so inviting. I need to start working on my Sunday routine since school is starting soon. I've loved having extra time in the week to do some of my Sunday things. I hope you've had a lovely summer weekend!
